As with all good hybrids, it balances both rugged purpose and sporting ambition – it means the FX rider can ride in mixed environments with confidence. Stylish and sporty

Nothing rides like a Trek. The lightweight, stylish aluminium frame is built around proven geometry to make FX an effortless bike to ride. And there is a lifetime warranty on the frame too.

Hydraulic disc brakes

Hydraulic brakes are the standard from FX 2 models and above. Consistent easy to use power whatever the weather. They are essentially miniature versions of what is fitted to a modern car or motorbike. They just work.

Fitness ready

FX is Bontrager DuoTrap sensor compatible to let you keep track of how many calories you have burnt or simply log commuting miles. This is part of Trek’s total approach to your bike ownership.

Versatile

Mounts for a pannier rack, kickstand, bottle cages and mudguards let you customise your FX exactly how you want it. It can also have tyre upgrades to bring out a different side of its character.

The FX range

FX 2, 3 and 3 Equipped make up our three key models in the FX hybrid range. Every model uses the same high quality aluminium frame. The differences lie with the components fitted to each bike. WSD or women’s specific design bikes come fitted with a ladies saddle and shorter handlebars.

FX 2 has a high grade aluminium fork, hydraulic disc brakes, 8 speed gears and strong aluminium wheels. Trek FX 3 adds to this with carbon fibre forks, 9 speed gears and vibration absorbing handlebars and grip combo. These additions make the FX 3 lighter and more comfortable.

FX 3 also comes in a “equipped” version. This means the base bike is the same with an addition of a stealthy matte black paint job, mudguards, pannier rack, kickstand and lights. We can fit any or all of these accessories to a standard model if you prefer a different colour option.
