Lockdown 2021 – we are here and open for you again

Keeping cycling services open is an integral part of government pandemic strategy – cycling is rightly deemed an essential part of our national response to the current crisis.

So, with a robust lockdown enforced by the government to control the spread of Covid-19 everything but essential services are closed to the public – fortunately we are permitted to stay open and keep people riding. We are also keeping to our standard shop hours – open 8 hours a day for five days a week.

Lockdown headlines:

We are risk assessed and taking every care … at the time of writing, none of our staff have contracted the virus.

We expect our customers to take the risks of Covid-19 as seriously as we do: that means masks, distancing and hand hygiene.

When you come to the shop our door is locked to control access and numbers in-store. Knock and we will be with you swiftly.

We are open for servicing, parts & accessories and for clothing. You are welcome in to select what you need.

We have an unparalleled selection of bikes available to buy… during 2021 there will not be a bike shop in the region with either the same breadth or depth of choice. Make us your first port of call – you will not be disappointed.

The Red Kite workshop and technical staff have decades of collective cycle experience and can look after your bike… book early to avoid queues and disappointments.

NHS frontline staff will get queue priority in our workshop to keep them moving. Let us know if this is you and you will be as close to the front of the queue as we can get you.
