Beginners’ Rides

Grow your confidence riding local roads and lanes

Running from June to October, Red Kite Beginners’ Rides will take a small group of cyclists out for an hour at a gentle pace.  It’s an opportunity to gain confidence riding on local roads and discover some enjoyable routes right on your doorstep.

Ride leader is Dave Bartlett, an experienced local cyclist who has 30 years’ road cycling and touring experience. Dave has extensive knowledge of cycle routes (and the best cake stops!) around the West Midlands.

Places are limited, so contact the shop to book your place on 0121 745 2618 or email shop@redkitecycles.co.uk

Cyclists can ride whatever bike they have, but it must be ride ready. We recommend bringing a spare inner tube, a pump and tyre levers. Wearing a helmet is essential; visible and weatherproof clothing is a good idea. Riders cycle at their own risk, no liability is accepted by Red Kite Cycles.
