The Enigma Etape has a long and illustrious history as a titanium audax machine. It is capable of speed and comfort whilst also taking mudguards and racks if necessary. The latest incarnation is disc-braked, takes chunky tyres, and in this version of the bike has been designed around electronic shifting.
Fo the customer, this beauty replaces a rim braked lesser standard titanium bike that he had ridden for a few years – but he is ready for disc brakes and better shifting through Di2 … so that’s what brought him to us for this beautiful simple build. For the sake of toughness and matching the build, we went for Mavic’s “Allroad” wheelset.
